Odds & Errands Concierge and Organizing Services was born in 2006 when I needed to start long distance caregiving for my parents who lived in Florida. I had to hire people who could help me do the day-to-day chores that seniors require so that they can age in place. It was then that I decided to make a career change from corporate America to working one-on-one with individuals who could really appreciate and use my organizational skills in their daily lives. By incorporating concierge and organizing services, I am able to help people feel more empowered by becoming less stressed and more in control. I try and teach my clients transferable skills so that they can eventually do for themselves.
Background: I am a graduate of Brooklyn College (Brooklyn, NY) and worked for 20+ years in corporate America with extensive experience in back office IT as liasion, Electronic Data Interface (EDI) and writing User Manuals. My Mottos: "From the pile to the file.." It might seem like an overwhelming task to get organized but with patience, perseverance and a sense of humor it can get done!
"Keep your eye on the prize" It didn't get this way overnight and it will take some time to get organized but you must remember it is a process and the long-term goal is to get organized and stay like that!
